This page was completed on October 27th and was my sixth layout for the month. This was for a monthly kit challenge on Mousescrappers. Basically, a designer donates part of a kit and you need to scrap a page mainly using that kit. I’ve seen a lot of these types of challenges on other forums, but this was a new type of challenge for me as I’m used to picking and choosing from several different kits and designers.
Template – Neverland Scraps Pixie Plate #267
Kit – “Rats Amore” from ChubbyChihuahua-Designs
The theme was very timely. My son, who was just shy of a year at the time, had recently found my stuffed animals that I’d bought, from Blockbuster of all places, back when Ratatouille came out. So, of course, he absolutely falls in love with them and Remy has become his new best friend. I’m definitely hoping we never loose him, because he’d be impossible to replace!
This layout was created on October 24th, and was my fifth for the month. I’d finally reached the halfway point of my challenge, and I only had 7 more days left to scrap another 5 layouts!
Papers and elements – Citrus and Mint’s Wild Safari
Alpha – Outer Space from Pixel Scrappers

I reused the same kit as my previous Animal Kingdom layout. What can I say other than I really really like that kit?
I’m still catching up with layouts I made in October. This is from October 21st, and was my fourth layout for the month. I’m actually quite proud of this one, though I think the clustering leaves a lot to be desired. I came up with the layout myself instead of using a template, based on a page I saw in Roxana’s gallery on Mousescrappers.
Britt-ish Designs – Happiest Season of All Add-On – paper, ribbon
Harper Finch – Christmas in July – glitter, flower elements
Merry Christmas Stitching by Brooke Gazarek – Pixelscrapper

Long time no blog… but I have been scrapping! I had some issues for a while where I couldn’t get any pictures uploaded to WordPress, and seriously, what’s a digiscrapping blog without pictures of layouts? Here’s a layout I did for a template challenge at Mousescrappers. I had to learn how to use photo masks for this, and while I found it very tricky at first, I’ve definitely grown to like them.
I completed this on October 13th, and it was my third layout for the month. If you recall, I’d set a goal of 10 layouts for October, and at almost the halfway point, I was running short by 2 layouts. Did I meet my goals? Well, you’ll have to check back and see later!
Yup, it’s another Mousescrappers challenge layout! This is my second out of 10 layouts that I’m trying to complete for the month. I’m pretty happy with this layout – I really like the block styles and I think I got a pretty good balance of colors on this page.
